Dear Friends & Family,

We are trying to raise $6000 for new home uniforms we can really use. We have not replaced our home uniforms in four years so you can imagine their condition! Due to severe cuts by the State of California, our team budget is down to the absolute essentials, and there's just no way to deal with this cost on our own.

To help us make this purchase, we're going to do a variety of things to raise extra money, including reaching out to people we are close to and who want us to excel on and off the field. Everyone on our team really appreciates your help, especially me, but we have more than just thanks for you because this is NOT a traditional fundraising campaign.

I also want you to know that at a great school like College of the Siskiyous, we never forget that "student" comes first in "student-athlete." In the past four semesters we have had 84 Scholar Athletes, 9 JC Grid Wire Academic Honor Roll Students, and 5 Academic All-Americans.

But, we're not just hard workers in class. Under the leadership of Coach Young, over the past five seasons, we have had 46 1st Team All-Conference selections, three conference Players of the Year, seven 1st Team All-State selections, six Junior College All-Americans and more than 60 players signed scholarships with four-year colleges.

While hard work, intensity and commitment will always be our most important keys to victory, knowing you're cheering for us can have a real impact on our success, too.
