Field Botany

An introduction to plant identification and plant ecology with emphasis on local wildflowers. Involves four all-day Saturday field trips. Lab.

What we mean is:

If you want to go on lots of field trips and learn the names of many of our local wildflowers, trees, and shrubs, register for this course, because this is exactly what you are searching for.

Will it transfer???

This course is degree applicable, and will transfer to the California State University system.

There is no required prerequisite. This course is offered occasionally. The instructor is Ken Beatty. He can be reached by contacting COS at (530) 938-4161.
